Vega Sicilia Único – A Legendary Wine Born from Time and TerroirFrom the vast 1,000-hectare Vega Sicilia estate, only 210 hectares are dedicated to vineyards, carefully divided into 57 plots across 19 distinct soil types shaped over time by the Duero River. Of these, just 40 hectares are reserved for the production of Único, the estate’s most iconic wine.
 
Único undergoes one of the longest aging processes in the world—at least ten years between barrel and bottle. This includes time in both new and used 225-litre French and American oak barrels, as well as large 20,000-litre wooden vats. The result is a wine of extraordinary depth, complexity, and elegance—a true benchmark of timeless craftsmanship.
