Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Barolo consists of two valleys: the Barolo Valley and the Serralunga Valley. The soil in the Barolo Valley is rich in marl, while the Serralunga Valley's soil contains more limestone and iron. The Barolo Valley produces lighter, more aromatic wines that are often ready to drink sooner. In contrast, the Serralunga Valley yields sturdier Barolos that are richer in tannins, allowing for longer aging and later peak maturity.

Batasiolo Barolo is a blend from both valleys, offering a velvety softness alongside remarkable strength and aging potential. The wine is full-bodied and complex, with nuanced flavors of black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice, and tobacco.
