Anterra translates to "old ancient land." This name refers to Italy's longstanding tradition of winemaking and wine trading, which has evolved over time. The wine label features red roofs typical of ancient Italian architecture and old houses in the heart of the city. The Anterra series includes wines from both the cold climate at the foothills of the Alps and the almost desert-like southern region. All these single-varietal wines reflect the microclimatic characteristics of their region and are based on the historical peculiarities of winemaking in a particular place.
This 100% Pinot Noir wine comes from the Ragusa province in Sicily. Thanks to the bright sun that ripens the grapes, the wine's color is more intense than usual for Pinot Noir. Ripe cherry dominates the taste, with hints of raspberry and wild berry. The wine is aromatic, lightly oaked, and juicy in character.
