1792 Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey and a brand owned by the Sazerac Company. Distilled at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, this small batch bourbon takes its name from the year Kentucky officially became one of the United States. Originally named Ridgewood Reserve 1792, it was changed to 1792 Ridgemont Reserve in 2004 after successful objections from the owners of the Woodford Reserve brand. However, even that name has since been abandoned.
